The Stoughton Public Library strives to provide a welcoming environment with a diverse collection of materials, educational services and enrichment programs for all ages, backgrounds and abilities.  The Library serves as an integral part of the community, providing an opportunity for all to inform and educate themselves, promotes life-long learning, recreational reading and cultural advancement.

  • This proposed project is designed to expand and renovate the current structure of 22,000 sq. ft. to approximately 39,000 sq. ft.
  • Update and/or replace all systems with energy efficient components
  • Ensure that this public building is fully accessible to all
  • Preserve or increase existing parking spaces
  • Provide full handicap accessibility
  • Offer a variety of meeting spaces for Library and public use
  • Expand Children’s Area to offer enclosed craft and story hour space
  • New design will not require additional staff to manage safely
